Xclusive Curves Bridal is a plus-size only bridal shop carrying wedding dresses in sizes 16 to 38. Since bridal sizing is different from our typical everyday clothing, brides tend to be one to two sizes larger in a wedding dress.

Xclusive Curves Bridal  offers a variety of upgraded appointments you can choose to purchase when scheduling your bridal appointment or to add to the celebration of your special day here.

Xclusive Curves Bridal is a by appointment only bridal salon so we cannot accommodate walk-ins. You can request an appointment online or call us 225.431.9497 to schedule an appointment.

Unfortunately, bridal salons and young children aren’t the best fit so we respectfully request that you do not bring children under 10 years old to your appointment. 

No. We do not allow any outside food or drinks but… We do have the most delicious champagne that we pop open whenever a bride says yes to her dress.

We recommend that you begin your search 9 to 12 months prior to your wedding.  In general, it takes 5 to 6 months for your wedding dress to ship from the designer once it is ordered. But, if need be, we can rush an order for an additional fee. And, if you are very short on time, we do have a limited but beautiful selection of plus-size wedding dresses that can be purchased off-the-rack.

Your appointment will be 90 minutes long. During that time, you and your Bridal Stylist will get acquainted. In order to help you find the dress of your dreams, we will ask you about your venue, the overall look of your wedding and any specific requirements. Now, we ask you about about the gown: What is your vision? Are you a clean, simple and modern bride? A sparkly-princess? A boho goddess? We have it all, AND, in YOUR size! We will try on several wedding dresses based on your discussion and then narrow down your choices, until we find THE ONE! We just know you’ll find the dress of your dreams here at Xclusive Curves Bridal.

Please wear comfortable undergarments ( you will be changing in a room with your stylist) and a strapless bra if you have one. And remember… Spanx/shapewear is our friend! So bring them if you have them. Also, if you have a shoe or heel that you feel comfortable in, bring them too. Most of our brides find their dress on their first visit, so also don’t forget to bring your method of payment with you!

It’s not necessary. Your normal everyday routine is all you need, but a little glam is never a bad thing! But please do not wear body make-up as it can ruin the gowns.

We will do everything we can to accommodate you during your allotted time. However, if you are late, and we have other appointments scheduled in the next time slot, we will have to cut your time short. So, try not to be late. If you feel you need more time, we will be happy to schedule another appointment for you and at that time we will pick up right where we left off before.

Bring your key decision makers! Bring the one’s who’s opinion you value most and the one’s who you simply could not choose a dress without. Most brides find their gown on their first appointment, so be prepared with your key people including the people who are paying for your gown.

Our plus-size wedding dresses start at around $900 and go up to $3,500. We also always have a Sample Sale Rack available with deeply discounted plus-size wedding dresses.

A Sample Sale is when we sell discontinued and/or older sample plus-size wedding dresses off-the-rack at deep discounts. These wedding dresses are sold as is and cannot be returned.

No. We are so sorry but… Once we place the order for you, there is no turning back since every wedding dress is made to order just for you.

No. Unfortunately, all sales of off-the-rack wedding dresses are final and non-refundable.

We will call and email you when your beautiful wedding dress arrives. You can pick-up it up on any day that we open during regular business hours. The one exception is Saturday. We do not do pick-ups on Saturdays.

No. However, we do have a list of professional tailors who do bridal alterations. These people are not employees Xclusive Curves Bridal and we are in no way responsible for their work. Therefore, we encourage you to interview them prior to hiring them to do your work. If you decide to use one of them to do the alterations on your wedding dress, it is done so at your cost.
